Corey Lewandowski charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly "grabbing" a female reporter
Update: Lewandowski has been found not guilty of misdemeanor battery charges.
The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred in March 2016, when Lewandowski was the campaign manager for then-candidate Donald Trump.
Lewandowski was accused of grabbing the arm of then-Breitbart News reporter, Michelle Fields, after she asked Trump a question at a press conference.
Lewandowski has denied the allegations, and Trump has defended him, calling the charges "fabricated."
The trial is scheduled to begin on February 27, 2023.
Lewandowski faces up to six months in jail if convicted.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The trial is expected to last several days.
